Natalia is focusing on creating a policy platform around restorative practices. She is doing work on designing an equity framework with other equity policy fellows who are advocating for a policy that requires the district to use an equity framework when developing policy and when making all major decisions so that sufficient resources are available to all students.
Jennifer VanAusdall
Jennifer is working with Jesse Shneiderman at Douglass High School on school climate issues. They are in charge of implementing a school-wide advisory period that contains community building circles.

Edwin Green Jr.
Edwin is working to design an equity framework with other equity policy fellows who are advocating for a policy that requires the district to use an equity framework when developing policy and when making all major decisions so that sufficient resources are available to all students. He is conducting research around equity as it pertains to recruiting, retaining and supporting high quality teachers.
Keysha Goodwin
Keysha is a parent at Leith Walk Elementary. She is Vice President of the schools Parent Teacher Organization. She and have been working hard on recruitment of parents and raising awareness in the community about the PTO. They are now focused on gathering volunteers and parents to be a presence in the school so they can assist with behavior issues.

Roslyn is a parent at Leithwalk Elementary. They are the president and Vice President of their schools Parent Teacher Organization. They have been working hard on recruitment of parents and raising awareness in the community about the PTO. They are now focused on gathering volunteers and parents to be a presence in the school so they can assist with behavior issues.
Christyn Wallace
Christyn is working on creating a math curriculum about lead-- it's history, characteristics, statistics and its impact on the Baltimore community. She plans to engage her students in a year-long project focused on studying the lead issue specifically as it relates to lead levels in the drinking water of public schools. Students will conduct research, test water lead levels and engage in advocacy around lead in water quality for youth in Baltimore City.
Kris Sieloff
Kris is an ESOL teacher at Digital Harbor High School. She is conducting research to develop innovative methods to incorporate social justice themes and concepts into every-day lessons for low-level English Language Learners. She is exploring the impact of photography and other visuals that will increase learning and create a culturally relevant social justice curriculum for her students.
Patrick Oray
Patrick is a teacher at Bard High School. He is working on a civic engagement curriculum that will provide opportunities for students to learn about the importance of civic engagement. Students will engage in weekly meetings, speaker series, and internships to connect with social justice projects in Baltimore. He is partnering with students to create a hub where Bard students, faculty, and families can get a practical education in effecting social change.
Diamonte Brown
Diamonte is working with Corey to tackle education funding inequity against Baltimore City Public Schools. Her work focuses on modifying current legislation, specifically House Bill 684, to ensure that educational funds promised to supplement district funding aren't being used instead to replace district funding, further enhancing decades long underfunding of city schools. She's partnering with fellow members of teacher's caucus BMORE and with equity policy fellows to conduct research and develop strategies around addressing adequate educational funding for city schools.
Trish Garcia Pilla
Trish is working with a team focused on developing an equity policy. Her issue area is equity issues surrounding charter schools. Her research is part of a larger project that we hope will be implemented by the district
Corey Gaber

Janice is President of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) at Liberty Elementary School. Her fellowship is focused on bringing in more parents to help run the after school program, the food program and to meet other needs of students and families in the community.
